Anna Jobi

Here is one of my favorite pictures that we have of little Anna. She has wonderful bright eyes. She gave us a rough night last night only sleeping about 1 hour between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Oh well, you take the good with the bad. It was her first night at home as well so, things will get better.

Hey Bro.,

Looks like the Lord has really blessed you. Don't worry, too much about those sleepless nights. It's best to just go with them and make the most of them. If she's going to be up, put on some relaxing music and rock her while you listen. Walk with her, whisper to her, tell her about your day. Pray with and for her. If all else fails, strap her on (a sling or belly carrier works well) and bounce while you do something that you couldn't do earlier in the day.

Our most difficult baby was Elijah, and we had non-stop sleepless nights for three months until I couldn't even function on my job. I realize now that it was because I was so frustrated over not knowing what to do. It's been better with every child, and I believe the reason is that I became more comfortable with every child.

Anyway, that's my best advice. Don't fight it. Just relax and go with it, because your going to be up anyway.

Congratulations to you and your wife. And God Bless you both.
